Perhaps the best way to increase enjoyment is to optimize your diet for health. Good health is a major factor in enjoyment and diet seems to be the greatest single factor in what you can do for good health.
I have been improving my diet, more or less, over the last 40 years. From what I have read and what I have noticed, the most healthy diet is one which incorporates the following four principles:
1.) Eat no more calories than it takes to maintain an ideal weight.
2.) Eat lots of fruits and vegetables, meals should be about 3/4 fruits and vegetables. Go easy on the high calorie density fruits and vegetables such as dates, avocado, and potato.
3.) Eat mostly, if not exclusively, whole foods; only whole foods provide all needed nutrients.
4.) Eat many different foods to get all the needed nutrients.
